The Hopkins Girls Lacrosse Team is a member of the Western New England Prep School Women's Lacrosse Association (WNEPSWLA). The Hopkins Varsity team competes against some of the top boarding school programs in western New England as well members of the Fairchester League. Recent Hopkins graduates have gone on to successful college lacrosse careers at Amherst, Colby, Bryn Mawr, and Bates. Other recent graduates have continued to play on club teams at Yale, Georgetown, and Fordham Universities.
Hopkins fields teams at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Junior School (7th and 8th grade) levels. The primary goal of the coaching staff is to train players to play at an intelligent and sophisticated level, to play hard, to play fair, and, above all, to have fun in the process.
Hopkins is a private middle school and high school for grades 7-12. Located on a campus overlooking New Haven, CT, the School takes pride in its intellectually curious students as well as its dedicated faculty and staff.
