A Roman Cena for 7th Graders

On Wednesday, Jan. 17, the 7th grade enjoyed a Roman Cena—a grand banquet complete with togas— organized by their Latin teachers. Students prepared traditional dishes to share with their classmates, learned how to make dormice out of Oreos, marshmallow, and frosting, and enjoyed games and activities. Mrs. Horsley’s class also prepared a special funeral procession and tribute to the end of Term 1.
