A Special Screening of "2020: Chaos & Hope"

On Thursday, March 27, Hopkins hosted a special screening of 2020: Chaos and Hope, a documentary written and produced by Ceci Chan, a friend of the Hopkins community. The event took place in the newly renovated Academic & Performing Arts Center and offered attendees an opportunity to engage with both the film and its creator.

The evening began with a welcome reception for faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends of the school. Guests had the chance to meet Chan and learn more about her inspiration behind the documentary. Following the screening, Head of School Matt Glendinning led a talk-back discussion with Chan, during which audience members posed questions and reflected on the film’s themes.

About the film: 2020: Chaos and Hope is a compelling documentary that examines the profound impact of the events that reshaped the nation—from the COVID-19 pandemic to the social and political upheavals that challenged the country.
