Tommy Pont Strong (9) scored twice to lead Hopkins to a 3-1 win over King. Captain Wyatt Sloan (12) opened the scoring after getting on a Noah Whalen (11) ball out wide. Sloan cut in and fired home near post. The second was a silky passing move that ended with Nate Huang (12) firing across the face of goal for Pont Strong to finish. Ethan Liu (12) later found Pont Strong who turned and fired home from 20 yards.
Hopkins travels to Canterbury on Saturday for a 2:00 kickoff.
