Hopkins celebrated the Chinese New Year on Wednesday, February 11 and welcomed the year of the goat! A joyful celebration in Heath Commons featured a dumpling-making and eating festival, a Chinese calligraphy workshop, Chinese games Mahjong and Go, and a special paper cutting performance by Mr. Hou Tien Cheng. The event was organized by Ms. Lin and Ms. Li, who reported that over the course of the afternoon, 1000 dumplings were made, and 600 big white rabbit candies and 500 fortune cookies were eaten.
