Hopkins alumnus Bryan Pannill '10, who matriculated to Princeton University last year, was honored by the school with a Haarlow Prize for a paper he wrote, "The Painter-King." A committee of Princeton faculty select the two best papers submitted to all Humanistic Studies courses each year. According to Princeton, "The prizes are awarded in memory of A. William Haarlow III '63, who cared deeply about Humanistic Studies. His generosity and that of his family have helped make the program flourish. He would have been pleased to know how much students like [Bryan] are accomplishing." Congratulations, Bryan, on this wonderful academic achievement!
