Our Mighty Hilltoppers have been quick to get their skills together this season! Our kids showed skill and in many cases they also showed grit and determination as they came out ahead after playing some very close matches. Special Kudos go to Heidi, who overcame deficits in the last two sets of her match to best her opponent 11-9 and 12-10. Great Job! Another great match was today's #4 slot, where Matteo overcame a 0-2 deficit against a powerful squasher to end up on top 3-2.
It's always nice to win our first match, but we're going to be back to work tomorrow because the Wyverns will visit us next month for a re-match. Next up, however, will be a contest at home vs. local Squash Haven. We Look forward to seeing you next Tuesday after school for this exciting challenge.
