Results vs KO

Hopkins traveled to play against Kingswood-Oxford in a non-conference battle. KO got on board early with 3-0 lead within the first five minutes of play. Freshman Marin Ciardello scored the first goal of the game for Hopkins after she won the draw and charged into the KO defense to shoot past KO Goalie, Amelia Levine. Eighth grader Shoshana Epstein scored three more goals to close out the first half. Hopkins offense took off in the second half with goals added by Lucy Paganos, Lauren Sklarz, Marin Ciardello, and Shoshana Epstein. Fiona O'Brien, Chloe Smith, Audrey Braun, Ellie Smith, and goal keeper Emma Maldon held down the KO attack, with Maldon making 12 saves in net. The Hilltoppers held onto their lead and ended the game 12-10. Freshman Marin Chiardello had 4 goals and 2 assists, eighth grader Shoshana Epstein had 4 goals, freshman Lauren Sklarz had 3 goals, and junior Lucy Paganos had one goals and an assist. Hopkins will return to action on Saturday April 20th, when they will host The Gunnery at 2pm.
