She served in the Georgia House of Representatives for ten years and has been heralded for her candid insights on politics, leadership, entrepreneurship, and social justice. Abrams will address the Hopkins community, as well as students from New Haven Public High Schools, at this special event where she will discuss civic engagement, voting, civil discourse, identifying quality news sources, and the foundations of democracy itself.
