On Friday, Jan. 12, students in the Theater Performance Term 1 course presented their original play, "Truly Grimm Tales." The hour-long performance presents three understandably overlooked Brothers Grimm tales in their original, gritty, and gross form.
The eleven 9th grade members of the Theater Performance class adapted and staged these tales throughout the course of Term 1 for a single performance, under the guidance and direction of Mike Calderone. They presented the play in the "shoestring" style, with limited props and costumes, where the actors become the "living scenery" as needed.
