The Class of 2024 Graduates!

On the morning of Friday, June 7, 2024, at a beautiful ceremony on the Hill, 146 members of the Class of 2024 graduated from Hopkins School, surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and staff.
 
Head of School Matt Glendinning began the festivities, followed by an Invocation by Rabbi Joshua Ratner of Or Hadash Synagogue in Fairfield. Senior Class President Kian Ahmadi gave the Salutatory address, in which he celebrated all the ways he and members of his class ventured outside of their comfort zones during their time at Hopkins. Senior Vedant Aryan delivered the Valedictory Address, in which he encouraged his classmates to embrace uncertainty, craft their own story, and cherish every moment.  
 
Matt Glendinning spoke to the Class of 2024 in a graduation address. He shared what he has learned from this class, calling out many individuals and moments they shared together over the course of the school year. 
 
Gwen Evans '84, President of the Hopkins Committee of Trustees, accompanied by Head Adviser Scott Wich '89 and Matt Glendinning, delivered diplomas to each graduating senior. Exceptional performances by the Hopkins Choir and Orchestra throughout added to the emotion of the graduation ceremony.
 
After all the diplomas were conferred, Preston Parker ’24 handed over the Hopkins flag to incoming Student Council President Alexander Skula '25. The Class of 2024 left the tent as graduates, and were greeted by the faculty in a receiving line, before joining their families for continued celebrations.
