Amy Chua, Hopkins parent to Sophia ('11) and Lulu ('14) Chua-Rubenfeld, has written a book about raising her daughters the "Chinese way." Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother will be released next Tuesday, January 11, 2011.
Chua's book has been reviewed by the The Wall Street Journal, and she will be making television appearances in support of her book on Nightly News with Brian Williams and The Today Show on January 11, The Weekend Today Show on January 15, and The Colbert Report on January 25.
Chua is currently the John M. Duff, Jr. Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She has also written two other books: World On Fire: How Exporting Free Market Democracy Breeds Ethnic Hatred and Global Instability, published in 2002; and Day of Empire: How Hyperpowers Rise to Global Dominance - and Why They Fall, published in 2007.
