PCA Visits with Junior School

On September 18th, Kim Conway Haley came as part of the Positive Coaches Alliance to present to the Hopkins Junior School.  
The session was full of exercises and activities to promote teamwork, collaboration, and communication.

An Athletic and Academic All-American soccer player at the University of Virginia, Conway Haley went on to play in the United States Women's National Team player pool from 1993-1995. She played professional soccer in the Netherlands as well. Conway Haley the founding member of Diversity in RVC, which helps students of color gain exposure to sports and aids in supporting them logistically and financially to compete at the club level.

Ms. Conway Haley is a certified as a mental performance consultant through the Association for Applied Psychology; she is the founder of The Mental Edit. According to its website, The Mental Edit "helps athletes and their influencers - parents and coaches - reach performance potential and enjoyment in sport by developing a purposeful mindset and environment."

It was a pleasure to have her come and work with our youngest community members about the importance of leadership, teamwork, and what it means to be a good teammate.
