The Varsity Girls Tennis team took home the New England Class A Title for the second year in a row.
This past weekend, Varsity Girls Tennis hosted the Class A New England Prep School Tennis Tournament. Seeded first, they beat Hotchkiss in the quarterfinal round 5-4, and followed with a 5-1 semifinal win against Andover. The team then hosted Winsor on Sunday, and the games could not have been closer. Hopkins took the final point, and defeated Winsor 5-4. To see photos from the finals, click here.
This is the teams second year in a row with the New England Championship title. The team had an amazing season: undefeated, Fairchester regular season champions, and Fairchester tournament co-champions.
Hopkins is a private middle school and high school for grades 7-12. Located on a campus overlooking New Haven, CT, the School takes pride in its intellectually curious students as well as its dedicated faculty and staff.
