Crew Excels at Founder's Day
The team recently competed in the annual Founder's Day Regatta, hosted by the Frederick Gunn School.
The regatta took place at Lake Waramaug. After competing in qualifying heats, the Boys Varsity 1 and 2 boats and the Girls Varsity 1 boat entered the Grand Final. The Boys Varsity 1 placed 2nd of 12, the Girls Varsity 1 placed 3rd of 12, and the Boys Varsity 2 placed 4th of 12. This is the first time that the Boys 1 and Girls 1 teams have medaled at the regatta; Hopkins began competing at Founder's Day in 2014.
