Hopkins alum Sydney Hirsch earned these honors while fencing for Yale.
Sydney (Yale '24), a member of Yale University's Fencing Team, qualified for NCAA Championships all four years she competed. In her last match of her collegiate fencing career, which took place at the NCAA Fencing Championships at Ohio State, she attained All-American status. This was her third time doing so.
While Sydney was a Hopkins student, she was a four time 1st Team USA Fencing High School All-American & Academic All-American. Additionally, she was the Connecticut High School Saber Fencing Champion three times.
Hopkins is a private middle school and high school for grades 7-12. Located on a campus overlooking New Haven, CT, the School takes pride in its intellectually curious students as well as its dedicated faculty and staff.
