Wrestlers Head to Prep Nationals
Three members of the Varsity Wrestling Team will be going to Lehigh this weekend to compete in the 88th Annual National Prep Wrestling Championship.
Representing Hopkins will be Eric Fusscas (106 class), Maurice Ellis (138 class), and Rich Fearon (150 class). Brackets will be available on FloArena on Friday morning after weigh ins. Find that information here. Bouts will take place Friday and Saturday.
To qualify for this tournament, wrestlers needed to place in the Top 6 of the weight class at the recent New England Tournament. Eric placed 5th, Maurice placed 4th, and Rich placed 5th. Hopkins placed 12th overall out of 38 teams.
